Stephen is from Sydney, Australia, and is currently completing his PhD in Chemistry at UNSW. His current direction for research is pi-conjugated liquid crystals. He also has an active role in student societies at UNSW including Students of Advanced Math and Science (SAMS) and Students of Chemistry Society (SOCS).
